NEW STATIONS JOINING THE AIR NEWS NETWORK
We're very pleased to announce that TEM FM in beautiful Temora, in the Riverina of NSW is coming on board with us soon, listen on 102.5FM. Also joining us for our Adelaide listeners is Coast FM in Glandore SA, just along the Anzac Hwy between Morphettville and Glenelg on 88.7FM.
VIRTUAL NEWSDESK - UNDER DEVELOPMENT
AIR news in association with MD Media Consulting is developing our latest incarnation of the Virtual Newsdesk. This is a zone where your journos, stringers, editors, presenters and managers can all come together to develop your News product. And you're not limited to being in the same room or on a local network. The VN is internet based to allow all members of your team to access and deliver stories, audio actuality and bulletins from wherever they are. We envisage the saleable product to be used by groups of regional stations for example that want to build a local news service shared between them all. With the VN you can produce the stories, the audio and the finished bulletin from anywhere with Internet access and deliver to your network quickly and efficiently. Whilst a price is yet to be established for the VN, the professional release will not restrict the number of users that you can add to your network, and there's no "per desk" fee that some "newsroom" software developers charge.
